We released fourth volume of the Networking Studies proceedings. It contains 13 most important technical reports published by CESNET in last year. This 196-page publication charts the key areas of our current research. It is available for download in the PDF format.

3D full HD transmission

Experts from CESNET and the Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem performed a unique real-time 3D Full HD stereo broadcast on Thursday June 10. The transmitted content was a robotic kidney surgery performed by a da Vinci robot. Read the press release for additional information.

Workshop of CESNET researchers

We organised our conventional workshop of researchers collaborating with CESNET. It took place in Zdar nad Sazavou from May 12. to 14. The main purpose of these seminars is to exchange information between individual working groups, to coordinate the work and to spread information about achieved results and important trends.

IP Telephony workshop

We held a professional workshop about IP Telephony workshop from April 29. to 30. in Prague under the patronage of the pan-European GN3 project. 45 experts from ten countries discussed about the IP telephony migration processes, efficiency of new technologies, progressive applications and related security aspects.
