      <description>We celebrated the 18th anniversary of Internet start in the Czech Republic on the beginning of February (this great event happened at February 13th, 1992). Nova TV station concerned with the Internet history in one shot of the Weekend show broadcast on January 11th. Jan Gruntorád and Jiří Peterka participated in the talk – see the recording (in Czech). The same topic was covered by the talk with Tom Kosnar broadcast by Leonardo station of Czech Radio in the Monitor show on February 12th.       <title>CineGrid 2009</title>

      <description>During the CineGrid 2009 workshop we presented the usage of high-speed networks for the team processing of moving image in high definition. The presentation was prepared in collaboration with the Cinepost company. It was based on the CESNET-developed MVTP-4k device which allows real-time transmission of video in 4k resolution.       <title>Second CRS-1 router installed</title>

      <description>Joint project of Institute of Intermedia of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague and CESNET named Cave to Cave (C2C) was presented on Tuesday September 22 during the ceremonial opening of new stereo-projection equipped classroom at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of CTU.
