Application support

Support of applications based on advanced communication demands requesting high level of services as large volume of data, speed of transmission, defined response time and reliability which is not possible achieved in standard shared IP. We are expecting to create independent E2E path, private and virtual network on different level of protocols. The main task is implementation new applications highly based on up to date network provided by CESNET. Currently, we support several applications from the area of medicine and particle physics. In the future we want to extend portfolio of supporting applications. We are moving into grid applications for medicine and to the area of virtual reality. Important function of this activity will be a coordination and orchestration between different groups of users and technical and research staff of CESNET in initial phase of new projects and creation of new paths.
