Prague – general information

The workshop will take place in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. It is a place with an eventful history and many well-preserved architectural monuments. As the political, cultural and scientific center of the region for over a millennium, Prague is also the seat of Charles University, the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and a number of other institutions contributing to progress in culture, science and education. Participants in the event will be able to enjoy the exciting atmosphere of our workshop, but also to go sightseeing in Prague and its environs. The view of the City with Prague Castle, famous Charles Bridge and the historical quarters is a sight that should not be missed.

Weather

You can expect comfortable weather in Prague in second half of September. Summer changes to autumn, typically with a mixture of sunny and rainy days. Long-term average temperature is about 15ºC (59 F) at this time.
