What is RSS
RSS is a XML-based data format which purpose is to provide short overview of news published on some server. Every time a new message is released information about it is added to the RSS file. Old information is removed on the contrary. The collection of information about news from some resource is called channel in the RSS terminology.
User is able to watch several interesting channels by means of RSS reader. The reader downloads in given intervals the contents of related RSS files and highlights the new addititons. It is possible to watch a lot of servers and visit them targeted avery time when some new article is published. Tips for RSS readers can be found for example in this list of RSS-related programs.

To make the watching of news on www.cesnet.cz easier we publish the information about new additions using RSS. If you add the channel
to your RSS reader you will be informed about the news happening on our server. The contents of RSS is frequently related to the title page, but it is not identical.
